Starting up a new baseball/softball team:

 

Go to: www.usssa.com

  1. Click baseball.
  2. Upper right hand corner is Log IN/Log OUT (make sure is says BASEBALL in the left hand corner, under Nationals news).
  3. Create user ID and password.

 

To Sanction:

  1. Log on with user ID and password.
  2. You must pay 30.00 to sanction with USSSA to play.
  3. You can decline the Global 15.00 extra fee if you do not wish to play in the Global World Series or play in any Global WS qualifying event.

 

Insurance:

  1. Log on with user ID and password.
  2. On the left side menu click “Team Insurance”.
  3. Scroll down to find cost. Pay online to fill out a brochure.
  4. If you have any questions you can call 1-800-741-3014.
  5. USSSA Insurance protects you during Practice, Fundraisers, Team meetings, Banquets and Games.

 

Roster online:

  1. Log on with user ID and Password.
  2. Click ISTS menu to the left.
  3. add rosters

 

Register for Alabama USSSA tournaments:

  1. Click tournaments.
  2. Click correct age group, click Alabama , (add a start date to the search, very important)
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Find tournament and click on “price of event”.
  5. Fill out credit card info.

You are playing baseball after all of that!

 

Be sure to check out your ISTS team manager site once you've created it. That is where you will manage your team and season. It has many powerful features. You can enter all your tournaments from there. Manage and update your roster. You can use it to send emails to your entire team. Get familiar with it because it can be a great team management tool.

(View schedule) from your ISTS menu is the only way to pay with a credit card once you have already entered a tournament. Payment is due 7-10 days or before to secure your spot in the tournament. Some tournaments fill up fast and once they have reached the max amount of PAID teams they are full and any team not paid will not be on the schedule.
